One of the most prevalent artists tearing up the 757 is  Young Money Yawn. The Norfolk, VA emcee has grown a rather impressive following from touring with the likes of Juicy J and Shy Glizzy. Young Money Yawn tells real street tales from personal experience. Not every rapper who traps is a trap rapper, so don’t be quick to dismiss dude when you listen to  the street banger “Half the Time” feat. Young Dolph.

Without a doubt Young Money Yawn has a style of his own, but it’s hard not to make a 2Chainz comparison off of visuals and aesthetic. I’m looking forward to seeing him carve out his own niche when his mixtape Street Gospel II drops on March 9th. The project will be hosted by none other than the world famous DJ Drama, so have high expectations.

Out of Young Money Yawn’s catalog of music videos, my favorite hands down is “Shout Out to Papi” featuring Virginia hip-hop pioneer Pusha T. Expect Young Money Yawn to be the next big name out of the Old Dominion. 757 we outchea!
