Radio One Philadelphia has named Kyle Glover as MD of Inspirational WPPZ (Praise 103.9). Glover, has operated as as the station’s programming assistant for the past two years. “It’s a good day for Radio One Philadelphia to see someone climb from being a board operator to the coveted title of Music Director for Praise 103.9 in a short span of time,” commented OM Elroy Smith. “Kyle’s love for this format is genuine and we want to show him that we are grateful and appreciative of his care and passion for a format that is very important to us at Radio One.” Glover will continue to serve as Smith’s right-hand person with regard to programming matters concerning both Praise 103.9 and Urban Oldies sister WRNB (Old School 100.3). “I’m excited and grateful to step into this position with a sense of purpose, full of passion and a positive outlook on the future,” said Glover.
