Thomas Johnson to PD – WMIB-Miami

iHeartMedia Urban WMIB (103.5 The Beat)/Miami has filled its PD vacancy from within the company — Thomas “DJ 33 1/3” Johnson will transfer from chilly Chicago to sunny Miami on April 27. Johnson has been part of the programming team at WGCI/Chicago for more than seven years and also mixes and hosts The Friday and Saturday Mixtape.

“We’ve locked in our next superstar Programmer with DJ 33 1/3!” said Alex Tear, SVP of Programming, iHeartMedia Miami. “His extensive format knowledge, passion and experience made him our ideal candidate.” Johnson added, “I’m excited to join the team at 103.5 The Beat!
