Congrats to “Kydd Joe” Collins, longtime nighttime entertainer on iHeartMedia Urban outlet WPRW (Power 107)/Augusta, GA who has been upgraded to APD/MD. In making the announcement, Tim “Fattz” Snell, Director of Urban Programming, iHeartMedia Augusta said, “Kydd Joe has been a dominant force at night with consistent No. 1 ratings for years — he relates to the core audience and understands the lifestyle. Joe will continue to grow, learn and deliver in his new role. I’m confident he will become one of the premiere programmers in the industry.”

Collins (left) has been with Power 107 for the past 12 years. Commenting on his promotion, he said, “Power 107 is a heritage station and I’m confident my knowledge and experience will be an asset to the station as we continue to keep a competitive edge in Augusta.” Collins succeeds Miss Monique, who was recently named PD of Urban sister WJIZ/Albany, GA.
