The “who’s who” (aka Linton fans and admirers) of Atlanta gathered for a much deserved evening of celebration for a man who has been more than a friend and instrumental in blessing our ears with the music Whitney Houston, Deborah Cox, and TLC just to name a few. David’s triple threat career encompasses journalism, radio broadcasting as well as a long and very successful tenure as a record promotion and marketing executive with stints at Arista, Capitol, Music World Entertainment and others . He currently serves as chairman of the Living Legends Foundation. Kevin Shine, founder of WSAATL and chairperson/founder of the ICON Awards states, “David Linton was selected as an honoree for his incredible achievements in the industry as well as his commitment to the community. The evening was also about music excellence and music education, celebrating those that have established themselves as well as those seeking to establish themselves.
