iHeartRadio Music Awards Moves to TBS

After two years on NBC, The iHeartRadio Music Awards are transitioning to the Turner Broadcasting System, Inc., in a multi-year deal that will have next year’s awards show simulcast on TBS, TNT and truTV. The 2016 iHeartRadio Music Awards are scheduled forSunday, April 3, 2016, airing between TBS’s exclusive coverage of the NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Championship Final Four on April 2 and the network’s first-ever telecast of the National Championship game on April 4. And, of course, The iHeartRadio Music Awards will also be streamed live on iHeartMedia radio stations and iHeartRadio’s digital platforms.
