Once thought of as a mere associate act of Odd Future, the Long Beach, CA emcee delivers a pretty solid project from start to finish. The trap anthem single “Seniorita” featuring Future is a must on Summertime 06. The record has an interesting assortment of guest appearances such as Jhene Aiko, fellow Long Beach rapper A$ton Matthews, Kilo Kish, and Joey Fatts just to name a few. Some of our favorite tracks are “Dopeman” along with “Jump Off the Roof.” At 20 tracks, Vince Staples came correct on his debut album. Summertime 06 comes in at 4/5 flies!
