Leslie Baylor Segues to WPEG/WBAV-Charlotte

Beasley Media Group Charlotte has appointed Leslie Baylor as Promotions Director of Urban WPEG (Power 98) and Urban AC WBAV (V101.9). Baylor (left) segues from Radio One Washington, where she handled promotions, events, marketing and brand management for WMMJ (Majic 102.3), WPRS (Praise 104.1), WKYS, WYCB-AM and WOL-AM. “Leslie is a Promotions guru who has a stellar reputation for being a team builder, forward thinker, strategic planner and music fanatic … and we are excited to have her join us!” said Jamillah Muhammad, OM/PD of Power 98 and V101.9.

The move marks a reunion for Baylor and Muhammad, who formerly programmed WMMJ and WPRS. “Leslie thrives on challenges and brings great synergy to her teams and stations,” Muhammad added. “I can’t wait for Leslie to hit the ground running!”
