Almost a month ago (October 10th to be exact), I got a chance to check out a long time favorite group of mine Aer, at Los Angeles’ El Rey theater. I had been wanting to see these guys in concert for the longest time and from the help of Amanda at Black Panda PR, this was made possible. The Boston based hip-hop duo were kicking off their One of a Kind Tour, and were accompanied by Cody Simpson and Chef’s Special.

The opening acts performed pretty decent sets. I appreciated how Cody Simpson paid tribute to Elvis and the blues era, and the fact that both sets featured full bands. Without delay Aer hit the stage and brought nothing but straight fire! They performed hit along with some new song’s off of their new album One of a Kind. They even performed a cover of Anti-Matter off N.E.R.D.’s Seeing Sounds.There’s no question that this was one of the better shows I’ve seen this year. Aer’s album One of a Kind is available on iTunes and Spotify.
