LeToya Luckett Strikes Again with TV One Series “Here We Go Again”

Former Destiny’s Child member and two time Grammy® winner LeToya Luckett is standing firmly as she continues to establish herself as a serious actress with a lengthy list of stage plays, films and TV series to her credit. Many barely recall the release date of her last record!

The wait will be a bit longer as TV One announced Luckett will star in a new multi-generational comedy series HERE WE GO AGAIN, which premiered December 15^th. LeToya stars as Maddy Walker and the always feisty Wendy Raquel Robinson co-stars as her mother Loretta!

Here We Go Again, showcases three generations of Walker women whose lives are upended after a series of events sends them along an unexpected journey and follows Maddy (Luckett), a single mother who is convinced there is some type of family curse after being born to her mother, Loretta (Robinson), at age 16, and having a child herself at age 16. Maddy refuses to let her daughter, Shante, now approaching her dreaded 16th birthday, become the next in line. The plot thickens when Maddy, in a moment of weakness, has a “drive-by” with her daughter’s father and discovers she is pregnant again. The show also gets a five on it for tackling adult issues with a comedic, yet informative and refreshing perspective.

Reps for Luckett say she is currently in the process of recording her highly-anticipated third album, which is set to release in(wait for it….) late 2016.
