WNBM-New York’s Radio 103.9 Downsizes Kevin Fleming February 18, 2016 Music News 1 Sharon Montero Reported budget cuts at Cumulus Urban AC WNBM (Radio 103.9)/New York have resulted in the exit (and newfound availability) of several talented pros, including midday personality Sharon “La Loca” Montero. Prior to her big move to Market No. 1 in July of 2014, Ms. Montero (pictured) had worked primarily in Florida — weekends/fill-in at Cox Media Rhythmic WPYO (Power 95.3)/Orlando, nights at WBTP (95.7 The Beat)/Tampa, afternoons at WJHM (102 Jamz)/Orlando and nights at WLLD (Wild 94.1)/Tampa. We are aware of several other Radio 103.9 employees who were also downsized — part-time air personalities Roxie Digital, Terry Bello, Mike Shannon, Production Manager Ghost, Mixer Mister Cee and several back-office personnel. While she begins the search for her next opportunity, Ms. La Loca will take full advantage of her mad social media skillz, vlogging the entire process on her YouTube channel.
