Hughley Rolls Back To Radio

Comic D.L. Hughley has been named as the replacement for Skip Murphy as the syndicated afternoon host for Reach Media. Murphy and co- host Jasmine Saunders quickly replaced Michael Baisden after his exit earlier this year. No stranger to radio, D.L. is on the “A” list of stand-up comics and had a short radio career doing mornings at former Emmis UAC station 98.7 Kiss-FM (WRKS) in New York prior to Baisden’s arrival. Hughley is best known as one- fourth of “The Kings of Comedy, as well as star of the ABC sitcom, “The Hughleys” and several other films and television shows.”

Word from the curb sources say the changeover is scheduled over the next two to three weeks and Hughley is also is in the process of choosing a co-host. Does this mean he will not consider current co-host Jasmine Saunders or is he seeking a female comic as his co-host to hold it down when he leaves to fulfill other commitments?
