Drake’s OVO Fest is the latest large-scale event to be impacted by a growing panic over the Zika epidemic.
Dancehall artist Beenie Man was one of the acts supposed to hit the stage during the Toronto rap star’s 7th Annual OVO Fest.
This year’s annual concerts feature performances by Drake, Future, Snoop Dogg, Wiz Khalifa and at the Air Canada Centre.
Beenie Man was supposed to headline last night’s concert with Machele Montano but he couldn’t make the concert because of he has contracted the deadly Zika virus.

Beenie posted a pictures of himself sprawled out on a bed and presumably feeling sick from the virus, which has spread to over 20 countries and has infected over at least 1.5 million people worldwide.

The Zika virus causes microcephaly, which impacts newborn babies, who are born with abnormally small heads and other short and long developmental issues.
Sean Paul popped up on the stage with Machele Montano during OVO Fest, which is also taking place during the city’s annual Caribana celebration.
