Brion O’Brion: On to the Next One

Foster Communications Top 40 KIXY/San Angelo, TX welcomes Brion O’Brion to the family to fill the station’s vacant night show. O’Brion (left) was most recently APD/MD/afternoons at Delta Media Urban AC KFXZ (Z105.9)/Lafayette, LA. Before that he spent a few years doing nights on CBS Radio’s KYKY (Y98)/St. Louis. Earlier in his career O’Brion programmed East Carolina Radio Group Urban WKJX (96-7 The Block)/Elizabeth City-Nags Head, NC and he also worked at WWAC (Wild 102.7)/Atlantic City, NJ.
KIXY PD/morning personality Scott Adams remarked, “We were in the middle of our search, and starting the process of narrowing down the finalists when Brion became available. His experience made him really stand out. We couldn’t be happier to have him in at nights to solidify what really is the best team in the Concho Valley!” Commenting on his Texas debut, O’Brion said, “I’m excited to join such a class operation in Foster.
