Antoine Davis1KBLX-San Francisco has promoted Antoine Davis from nights to afternoon drive. OM Elroy Smith commented, “I found my afternoon host right under the roof we share with him every day at KBLX. He has shown me a passion, drive and dedication to excel in this time slot and he deserves the permanent stripes to be officially named our afternoon drive star.”
Davis (left) is already very familiar with the layout of the Entercom San Francisco broadcast complex, having worked in various capacities at KBLX for over 12 years. He previously spent four years in afternoon drive at Urban AC KRNB/Dallas and another two years at the former KISQ/San Francisco. “Words can’t describe how excited I am to be back home on afternoons at KBLX,” said Davis. “KBLX is a heritage station that means so much to the people of the Bay Area and it feels good to be part of the family once again.” Davis succeeds Victor “Big Daddy” Zaragoza, who recently moved across the hall to Sports sister KGMZ (95.7 The Game).
