Boom! Karen Vaughn Jumps from Indy to Philly!

Radio One Urban AC WTLC, Classic Hip-Hop, W275BD-WNOW-HD2 (BOOM 102.9), Gospel WTLC-A (THE LIGHT 1310 AM), and Top 40/Rhythmic WHHH (HOT 96.3)/Indianapolis PD and host Karen Vaughn has been promoted to OM of Radio One’s Philadelphia cluster, Urban AC WRNB (OLD SCHOOL 100.3), Gospel WPPZ (PRAISE 103.9), and Classic Hip-Hop WPHI (BOOM 107.9)/Philadelphia. The move is effective September 19th.
Radio One/Philly VP/GM Shawneen Thompson said, “I’m excited to promote Karen and welcome her to Philadelphia. She went to Temple University, so she’s no stranger to our great city.
