103-jamz-music-conference
Carter Broadcast Group’s KPRS-Kansas City’s HOT 103 JAMZ will host the 2016 HOT 103 JAMZ Music Conference. The event will take place on Saturday, October  22nd from 8a-6p (CT) at the Voodoo Lounge in Harrrah’s Casino, 1 Riverboat Drive, North KC, Mo.
The conference provides a unique opportunity for artists, booking agents, concert promoters, producers, singers, songwriters and others involved with the music industry to network with executives in the field.
OM Myron Fears commented, “This is our third conference. Each year, the event gets better and better! We’re excited to have Mathew Knowles, CEO of Music World Entertainment, as one of our special guest speakers. He will share his secrets to success and how he built the careers of Beyonce and Destiny’s Child. Travis O’Guin, CEO of Strange Music, is a walking music book. His insights and knowledge is impeccable. He’ll share his infinite wisdom on how he built the number one independent music label in the world. I’m confident that our attendees will be supplied with great information about the music industry.”
“We’ve partnered with Kansas City Volunteer Lawyers and Accountants of the Arts, a local organization that specializes in helping artists with business plans, contracts and legal matters. The organization will be present to answer any questions from our attendees. I thank all of our guest speakers and partners from the business, music and radio industries that continue to support our conference and provide our attendees with the necessary tools to win.”
