Terry Base Exits WMGL & WWWZ Charleston Kevin Fleming January 17, 2017 Radio Buzz, Radio News After nearly two decades of service with Cumulus Media in Charleston, SC, Terry Base has exited as PD of Urban WWWZ (93 Jamz), Urban AC WMGL (Magic 107.3) and former Gospel outlet WXTC-AM. He also did mid-days on Magic 107.3 and was formerly OM of the cluster. Earlier in his career Base served as Citadel’s National Urban and Gospel Format Captain, and he also programmed KJMS & KHXT/Memphis prior to coming back home to Charleston 19 and 1/2 years ago. “It’s been a pleasure to serve my hometown for all these years and I hope to be heard again soon,” Base commented.
