Drake collected 13 awards at the 2017 Billboard Music Awards ceremony, which was enough to break the record for the most wins in a single evening at the BBMAs. Impressively, Drake was only nominated in 13 categories, so he won every single prize he was nominated for.

The “Passionfruit” singer beat the all-time record for the most victories in a single evening, which was previously held by Adele. The British singer-songwriter collected a dozen awards back in 2012 for her blockbuster album 21.

Drake has now joined a group of elite musicians that has grown to include four members, all of whom can claim to have double-digit wins at the Billboard Music Awards. The first artist to do so was Whitney Houston back in 1993 when the powerful vocalist collected both the Top Billboard 200 Album and the Top Hot 100 Song trophies for her album The Bodyguard and her smash single “I Will Always Love You,” respectively.
