AURN Ups Lenore Williams to SVP

American Urban Radio Networks (AURN), today announced Lenore Williams has been promoted to Sr. Vice President of Affiliate Operations and Compliance. “I’m delighted to add “Senior” to her title” said Jerry Lopes, President of Program Operations and Affiliations. “There is no one more deserving of this promotion. During her long tenure with the company, she has steadily climbed the ladder and excelled at every level.”
Ms. Williams began her career as traffic manager with one of the company’s owned and operated stations, and later added accounts payable/general ledger responsibilities. She then served as operations manager of the company’s owned and operated station in Buffalo. She became Manager of Program Operations for American Urban Radio Networks in 1998, and in 2006 was promoted to Vice President of Affiliate Operations and Compliance. “I have been blessed to have worked for a company that allowed me to grow from the ground up, and to have
worked with and talked to some of the most talented people in the industry”, said Ms. Williams.
