Earthquake, whose extensive fan base has enjoyed his unique brand of comedy for almost two decades, makes his way to 107.5 WBLS with sidekick Déjà Vu, starting September 9. “Earthquake’s been on his grind for quite some time! He loves radio and I can’t wait to help him realize his dream of becoming an afternoon star in New York City Radio!” stated WBLS Operations Manager, Skip Dillard.

WBLS’s track record for breaking infectious radio personalities has been part and parcel of New York’s identity. “Afternoons on WBLS has always been the spot of legends from Frankie Crocker to Wendy Williams now it’s time for Earthquake to write his page in radio history,” WBLS general manager Deon Levingston, states. Comedian Earthquake is no stranger to radio. He’s been a regular contributor every Tuesday and Thursday on The Steve Harvey Morning Show and has been known to fill-in for Steve Harvey when Steve’s out on vacation. He’s also no stranger to New York media receiving nods from New York based radio icon Howard Stern and ‘The View’s’, Whoopi Goldberg appearing several times with Howard Stern on his acclaimed radio show and as Whoopi Goldberg’s hand-selected guest this year on ABC’s The View, both labeling Earthquake as personal favorites.

Earthquake’s various television appearances include his past recurring role as ‘Uncle Mike’ on CW’s Everybody Hates Chris, his surprise appearance this season on BET’s The Game and unforgettable performances on HBO’s One-Night Stand, Premium Blend for Comedy Central, TBS Comedy Festival, HBO’s Def Comedy Jam and more.
DejaDéjà Vu has served the Tri-State Community for over 15 years and was a central part of the original air-staff that launched Power 105.1.
