Shout out to LeBron—the other Lebron–LeBron Joseph, PD, KMEZ, KKND and co-host of WGNO-(ABC) New Orleans program “News with a Twist”. With radio and TV, Joseph has the Crescent City covered! The show is an entertaining news program set in an eclectic bar that discusses the most interesting topics people are talking about in the greater New Orleans area. The show also features engaging local stories and content that showcases New Orleans and Gulf Coast music, food, and culture.

Joseph was tapped to do the show by Tribune Broadcasting in 2010. “The station called me in to do an audition and the rest is history,” he said. Joseph is among other radio personalities including “Broadway Joe Booker”, Skip Cheatham, Russ Parr and other who parlayed getting from behind the mike to getting in front of the TV camera.

In addition to KMEZ and KKND, he has also worked at WYLD, WQUE and WKOK Radio. Known to the industry as LBJ, the show on the ABC affiliate was a natural. From 2001 to 2005, he hosted the LBJ Show on Cox Access New Orleans. The program showcased the rich heritage and culture of the Social and Pleasure clubs, Mardi Gras Indians, and brass bands of New Orleans.
Born in Rockville Centre, NY and raised in New Orleans he is married to Greta Joseph and father of Satchel, Connor, and Legend Joseph. An avid fisherman, he prefers the saltwater marshes of the Brenton Sound and Biloxi Marshes near his native New Orleans.

Mega Dallas/Mega Millions

Hollywood’s A list came to Dallas this weekend along with an estimated 75,000 people who attended T.D. Jakes MegaFest. Workshops included inspirational sessions to seminars on television and film. Oprah flew in on her private jet to tape two segments of her LifeClass show with Jakes.

Other Hollywood A Lists included Robert Townsend, Tyler Perry, Holly Robinson Peete, Babyface, Steve Harvey and Jennifer Hudson, who attended the red carpet premier of Winnie Mandela, where she has the starring role of Winnie, the wife of former prisoner and South African President Nelson Mandela. Jakes will also premiere his new Sunday talk show October 6, T.D. Jakes Presents: Mind, Body & Soul on BET Networks. The hour-long program will feature a mix of celebrity interviews, impassioned discussion and expert advice. The show will also spotlight ordinary people with extraordinary stories.

Tyler Perry was among the thousands who attended Sunday services at Jakes’ Potter’s House mega church. Perry said he was touched and gave $1 million to help Jakes build a youth center and then laid hands on Jakes. It was hallelujah time after that!!
