Epic Records has appointed Ezekiel “Zeke” Lewis as Executive Vice President VP of A&R. Lewis , who was most recently a Senior VP at Universal Group/Motown, is a Grammy-winning songwriter who has a background in publishing, production and A&R. He also co-wrote and co-produced Justin Bieber’s hit, “One Less Lonely Girl,” and he’s nominated for a Grammy Award this Sunday for his work on Kevin Hart‘s album, What Now?, which is nominated for “Best Comedy Album.”
In his new post, Lewis will be responsible for A&R activities on behalf of selected Epic artists, from signings and material acquisitions through the overall recording process. The Epic roster includes DJ KhaledFutureMeghan TrainorCamila Cabello and French Montana, among others.
