Meruelo Media VP of Programming Jimmy Steal announces several high profile on-air jock adjustments at Hip Hop KPWR (Power 106) and Throwback 93.5 KDAY/Los Angeles — the action begins with KDAY midday personality Cece (left), who crosses the hall to Power 106 and sets her alarm four hours earlier to join #TheCruzShow with J Cruz from 5-10am. Cece remarked, “J Cruz and I worked together at [KVEG] Hot 97.5/Las Vegas before I joined KDAY — he’s the guy who first hired me in radio! We’ve remained friends and I love working with him every morning!”
At the same time it was announced that Krystal Bee (center) will transition off of #TheCruzShow and into her own solo midday show on Power 106. “I love working at Power 106 and I’m excited about the opportunity to host my own show every day from 10am to 3pm!” said Ms. Bee, who can also be seen on MTV’s Amazingness with Rob Dyrdek.
Hang on… we’re not done yet — taking over Cece’s former midday slot on KDAY is Bryhana (right), who most recently did overnights across the street on iHeartMedia Urban KRRL (Real 92.3). Bryhana said, “I can’t thank Jimmy Steal and [Meruelo Media COO] Otto Padron enough for inviting me to join their amazing radio family. I took a chance and moved to Los Angeles to pursue my radio career, and I am truly humbled and thrilled for this opportunity!” Steal said, “We are very excited about Cece, Krystal Bee and Bryhana in their new roles. I received countless airchecks for these positions and they are all very deserving.”
