Iris Perkins RIP – THE URBAN BUZZ

Legendary record promotion executive Iris Perkins has passed away after battling cancer. Best known for her time as Northeast Regional and National Promotion Director for A&M/Perspective/Tabu Records in the late 80’s and 90’s. Iris also managed Vesta Williams late in her career. The funeral will be this weekend at Christ The King Catholic Church, 768 Ocean Avenue, Jersey City, NJ

The wake/viewing is Friday 3/16 from 5-8 pm and Saturday 3/17 from 9-10 am. The mass will start at 10 am on Saturday.

They have requested that any flowers be sent to the church by 2 pm on Friday. Please keep the family in your prayers.
