Most know him for his signature Saturday morning show, “The Devistating Juke and Jam Show.” He supplied Charleston and surrounding areas with social content, and a combination of blues and soul music that was unique to the city. His style of music and delivery has been mimicked by other DJ’s and radio stations for years. But until his passing he was number one at WMGL-Charleston. In his words, “often imitated but never duplicated.” He was blessed with the gift of gab and an uncanny ability to touch everyone’s heart through music.
