Live and Local continues as Larry Wilson purchases five more stations from YMF Media. These five are in Columbia, SC, a market Wilson operated in once before, when he was running Citadel. At that time, Citadel competed against the stations Live and Local is now purchasing. Earlier this summer L & L purchased six stations from YMF Media in Jackson, MS, and it now picks up the five YMF stations in Columbia for $13 million. The stations are The Big DM (WWDM-FM) Hot 103.9 (WHXT-FM), Fox 102 (WMFX-FM), 102.3 FM Rock 93.5, WARQ 93.5 FM, and WOIC 1230 AM.

Wow, five radio stations for $13 million… the value of radio properties have really dropped.
