Since 1991, WVEE and WAOK has hosted one of Atlanta’s largest and most well-received events in the Southeast, For Sisters Only (FSO). This year was no exception as more than 25,000 excited fans joined The People’s Station, V-103, and News & Talk 1380 – WAOK at the Georgia World Congress Center with the ultimate experience of entertainment and inspiration!

The Ford Music Stage, hosted by R&B artist K. Michelle welcomed special appearances and performances by Kelly Rowland, Boris Kodjoe, Ciara, Tamar Braxton, August Alsina, Isaac Caree and Bishop Paul S. Morton, while the Autograph Zone kept Avant, the R&B Divas of Atlanta and L.A. and others busy for more than 5 hours!

The event included a health screening pavilion, financial education seminars, a Cultural Cafe’ and Kids Carnival Zone.  FSO was truly an event for all ages, genders and cultures!!

  The People’s Station, V-103, knows what it takes to stay number one and  News & Talk 1380/ WAOK knows what it takes to live up to its name as “The Voice of the Community!” For this year’s FSO, the radio stations provided FSO as an online experience locally and nationally through the use of social media to over 175,000 fans and followers.
