Put Mac Demarco, Washed Out, and Gorillaz into a blender, then out comes Vansire

It’s a wonderful and riveting feeling to discover a new band by total accident. After a throwback spin of the 2006 classic “Vans” by The Pack on Spotify, the following song which played due to alphabetical order was “Star Catcher” by Vansire. But the surprise didn’t end after hearing this gem from the Minnesota  duo. The sound of this track alone was so mesmerizing that it was only right for me to listen to their 2018 sophomore project Angel Youth from start to finish.
