Live and Local Mornings @ WYBC-New Haven

Yale Broadcasting Company Urban AC WYBC/New Haven, CT (operated by Connoisseur Media) opts to go live and local in the morning with announcement of the new Juan Castillo Morning Show, which launches on Sept. 10, hosted by Operations Manager Juan Castillo and co-hosts Kandy Williams and Rahsaan Langley.

The Juan Castillo Morning Show replaces the syndicated Tom Joyner Morning Show, which has been on WYBC for over 20 years. “It’s been over two decades that an Urban Contemporary radio station has had a local morning show, and the time is now,” said Castillo, who added, “As much as I loved the Tom Joyner Morning Show, the only negative was that there was not enough room for local content, and to that end we will aim to super-serve the state of Connecticut and the New Haven region with great local content. I am excited to embark on this journey with our local listeners.”
