Kenny JBeasley Media Group has hired veteran programmer Kenny J as Program Director of Urban WZFX (Foxy 99)/Fayetteville, NC. He will also assume Brand Manager duties for both Foxy 99 and Urban AC clustermate WUKS (Old School 107.7 JAMZ). He succeeds Tap Money, who last month was named APD/midday personality at Cox Media Group Urban WEDR (99 Jamz)/Miami.
Kenny most recently programmed Cumulus Urban KMJK (Magic 107.3) Kansas City until earlier this year. Before that he was VP of Programming for Kennelwood Radio Urban KWBT (94.5 The Beat)/Waco, TX and APD/MD for Radio One Classic Hip Hop KSOC (Boom 94.5)/Dallas. Kenny has also worked in Tulsa, Indianapolis, West Palm Beach and Greensboro, NC, and he spent time as a programming consultant for ABC Radio, a radio/TV instructor and a TV talk show host.
