Brian “B” Paiz joins Hot 97.7 Raleigh as Director of Branding

Brian “B” Paiz has joined PMC Broadcasting Urban WAUG (Hot 97.9)/Raleigh as Director of Branding, where he will be responsible for increasing ratings and revenue for Hot 97.9.

Owner/PD Damian “DY” Powell commented, “B is a great programmer and also understand the sales aspect. He has launched multiple Urban and Urban AC stations on the east coast and in the south. With his resume of success being involved in new stations, we are looking forward to taking the market by storm.”

Paiz was most recently SVP of Programming for iHeartMedia’s 11-station group in Albany & Columbus, GA until January of this year. He previously served as Brand Manager of IBX Media Urban AC WRHD-HD2 (Fresh 97.9)/Greenville, NC. Earlier in his career Paiz programmed iHeartMedia Urban WXBT (100.1 The Beat)/Columbia, SC and was Director of Urban Programming for Urban WIBB and Urban AC WRBV (V101.7)/Macon, GA. Paiz began his radio career at WPEG/Charlotte.
