WAMJ-Atlanta’s Ryan Cameron suffered a heart attack Kevin Fleming April 13, 2020 Entertainment, Radio Buzz, Radio News Atlanta radio personality Ryan Cameron, who currently does afternoon drive on Radio One Urban AC WAMJ (Majic 107.5/97.5), has been hospitalized in intensive care after suffering a heart attack. The news was reported by WSB-TV. Representatives of Cameron’s family released a statement, posted on WAMJ’s homepage that reads, “On behalf of the family of Ryan Cameron, we are asking for your fervent prayers as he recovers from emergency surgery that took place earlier this week. We ask for privacy during this difficult time. Thank you for your love and concern.” Prior to joining WAMJ in October 2018, Cameron spent 18 years on Entercom Urban WVEE (V103), presceded by an eight-year run in mornings on WHTA (Hot 107.9).
