Sada Baby is catching some major backlash after he tweeted and deleted a controversial post wishing death on openly gay singer Lil Nas X. The Grammy Award-winning artist’s new music video “Montero (Call Me By Your Name)” recently sparked outrage for its satanic themes and has been a heavy topic of discussion lately. Sada’s IG story post arrived shortly after news broke of DMX being hospitalized in a “vegetative” state following a reported drug overdose and subsequent heart attack.

“Lord we said Nas X, not DMX,” he wrote. Of course the comment sparked some strong reactions, many accusing Sada Baby of being homophobic.

The Whole Lotta Choppas rapper is no stranger to these similar accusations. Last October, he was criticized for another homophobic comment on Instagram after a fan demanded promotion for his Nicki Minaj assisted “Whole Lottta Choppas (Remix)” to which he replied, “Suck my dick faggot ass fan page.”

The slur prompted Twitter users to dig up old tweets of his, exposing multiple examples of questionable remarks, including rape threats and more homophobia.

“I wanna slip [one of my followers] a roofie n rape her ass all night,” he wrote in 2011.

Sada wanted to make amends a few days later for his perceived sins, taking on a much different tone. “A couple tweets, old tweets and shit came out from 2011 when a nigga was like 17, 18,” he said. “My first initial response to the tweets on my story may give people the idea that I don’t sympathize with females that’ve been raped or raping situations. What ya’ll gotta know is I’m almost 30 years old and I don’t fucking tweet, don’t got the password to my Twitter, no none of that/”
