Powered by Black Doctors COVID-19 Consortium and the Philadelphia Department of Health, Initiative Aims to Make the COVID-19 Vaccines Available for Communities with Low Vaccination Rates

WHAT:           iHeartMedia Philadelphia’s 105.3 WDAS FM and Power 99 FM will promote “Philly VAX Jawn” – a walk up, no appointment required Moderna COVID-19 vaccination pop-up clinic. The event, which is made possible by the Black Doctors COVID-19 Consortium and the Philadelphia Department of Health, aims to make the COVID-19 vaccine accessible to all communities.

105.3 WDAS FM and Power 99 FM on-air personalities will promote the event on-air and on social media encouraging the community to come on Saturday to get vaccinated. The highly respected Black Doctors COVID-19 Consortium will be on site to administer the vaccine and address any questions or concerns for the community.
