Charlamagne Tha God Day in Charleston

It’s widely known that Charlamagne Tha God, co-host of the Premiere-syndicated The Breakfast Club, grew up in Moncks Corner, SC and got his first radio break as an intern back in the day at Cumulus Urban WWWZ (Z93 JAMZ)/Charleston, SC.

Charlamagne made his triumphant return to his hometown market to participate in his 5th Annual Backpack/School Supply Giveaway & Fish Fry. That’s right — free plates of fried fish and shrimp as far as the eye can see… while supplies last. Z93 JAMZ will also broadcast live from Berkeley High School in Moncks Corner from 2-5pm as the City of Charleston officially proclaims Saturday, August 14, 2021 as “Charlamagne Tha God Day.
