Industry legend Joe Douglas passed away

The Urban Buzz sends heartfelt condolences to the family, friends and fans of career manager of Maze featuring Frankie Beverly and many other acts, Joe Douglas.

Everyone who knew Joe is devastated and in disbelief over his demise. There are many details we simply do not have at this time.

Joe was always associated with Frankie Beverly & Maze. He also managed new R&B singer LeVelle and owned the nightclub, Backstage Atlanta. Joe had a loving wife and family and will be greatly missed.

Joe was a good dude and a legend in the business. I truly enjoyed every and any interaction we had over the years. He was always about business, but he was fair and very cool. May he rest in peace.
