KJLH-Los Angeles has announced the appointment of Chris Malone as Program Director.

Malone succeeds the late Jamillah Muhammad at the station owned by Stevie Wonder’s Taxi Productions. He joins the station from MusicMaster, where he served as a music scheduling consultant. Malone has previously programmed Adult R&B 97.7 WKAF Boston, Classic Hip Hop “98.9 The Vibe” WKIM and Adult R&B 103.5 WRBO Memphis, Adult R&B 96.9 WBZJ Raleigh, and 88.5 WQOX Memphis. He has also held APD roles at WQMG Greensboro and WSNA Memphis.

After an extensive national search Radio Free 102.3 KJLH FM has selected Chris Malone as its new head of Programming for its legendary brand.

Chris comes to Los Angeles with an extensive programming resume including the programming of stations in Raleigh, Greensboro, Boston and most recently Dallas.
