Mitch Faulkner RIP Kevin Fleming June 27, 2022 Entertainment, Radio Buzz, Radio News The Urban Buzz sends heartfelt condolences to the family, friends and fans of production and content guru, Mitch Faulkner passed away after a lengthy illness at age 64. The motorcycle-ridin’, classic Chevy truck restorin’ Mitch Faulkner is LEGENDARY. His iconic voice is heard in the U.S., England, Africa, Canada, Brazil, the Bahamas, Jamaica and Denmark. He began his stellar radio career as a volunteer DJ in his hometown – Hopkinsville, KY at WHOP-AM Country. As years ticked by, he became known as “The Voice” in Atlanta on radio and TV. Mitch has also spent time in Texas hangin’ with The Tom Joyner Morning Show as the Creative Service Director. He was in such high demand that he worked at radio stations in several major markets and even became the signature voice for the Janet Jackson Control Tour. He’s also the proud owner of OMP, the first black O&O radio production facility in the world! Mitch was an accomplished radio personality, production and imaging provider and content creator.
