Among those honored was AURN’s Tanya Hart, host ofthe nationally syndicated “Hollywood Live with Tanya Hart”. “I am so grateful to Board President, Dorothy Tucker, and the other members who nominatedme for this prestigious award” says Tanya. “I had such a great time at the NABJ Convention atCaesar’s Palace in Las Vegas. I am humbled, excited and inspired, and most importantly withGod’s grace I will continue to tell my listener the TRUTH, which is, of course, the backbone ofgood journalism.” In addition to Ms. Hart, the NABJ also paid homage to other legendary Black journalists whohave made outstanding contributions to the industry including; Michelle V. Agins,Photographer, The New York Times, Harry D. Boomer, Anchor/Senior Reporter, Cleveland 19News, Levi Henry, Jr., Founder/Publisher, Westside Gazette Newspaper and Cheryl Smith,Publisher-Editor, I Messenger Media.
