Audacy welcomes popular tri-state radio veteran of Miss Jones as the new morning show host for Classic Hip Hop WXBK (94.7 The Block)/New York, with a start date of August 22.


A native of Queens, NY, Miss Jones, also known as “Jonesy,” is the first African American female to be syndicated on morning radio in North America, and most notably a two-decade-long stint on Hot 97/New York and in Philadelphia on WUSL (Power 99) and the former WPHI (100.3 The Beat). Miss Jones discovered, taught, and influenced some of the biggest brands in radio and entertainment including Stephen A. Smith, Ebro Darden from Hot 97, and DJ Envy from The Breakfast Club.
