Longtime friend of PALM Ducey Guevarra puts forth a new six track EP titled Black Philip Vol. 4. It’s released under his collective Die Slow Posse he shares with his younger brother Aleman. The brothers have collaborated with some underground power players such as their cousin Ramirez, as well as Freddie Dredd and Slim Guerilla. This lo-fi sound Ducey carries embodies his Northern California and southern trap influences. Guest appearance come from Phoenix, AZ emcee Doddy Gatz, as well as Ohsea. The overall dark and grimy feel of the project has a 90s throwback rust to it. Fans of the phonk style popularized in SoundCloud rap will instantly take a liking to this fourth installment of the Black Phillip series. Off the mic, Ducey and Aleman are both full time professional tattoo artists. Their work is highly regarded throughout Northern California. Black Philip Vol. 4 is available on all streaming platforms, but Die Slow Posse has an even deeper discography exclusively available on SoundCloud.
