Drumline II?

VH1 has green-lighted a sequel to “Drumline“, which will follow a new class of characters.  Nick Cannon will appear in the sequel, which centers around Dani Bolton, a Brooklynite who comes from an upper class background and decides to attend the fictional New Orleans university that’s the backdrop for the story, where she hopes to join, and shake-up, the once prominent drumline.  Getting in her way are upperclassmen, a new romance with a bandmate, her chief rival, and the school’s crosstown rivals.  Despite starring in the original “Drumline,” Cannon’s appearance in the new film will not be in a starring role.
