Doc’s New Deal

Congratulations are in order for Doc Wynter, CCM+E’s Senior VP/Urban Programming for inking a new, enhanced and extended contract. He’ll remain at the helm of the Urban and Urban AC brands and continue working with Urban PDs and marquee syndicated talent such as Steve Harvey, Keith Sweat and The “burgeoning” Breakfast Club to maximize ratings in their respective markets, as well as continuing to work with record label partners to identify opportunities to leverage CCM+E ‘s platform to introduce new Hip Hop and R&B artists and music to listeners through digital and on-air assets, live events and more.   A major additional responsibility includes  developing and  coaching talent across multiple formats as a member of Dennis Clark’s talent development team.

Doc has been with Clear Channel for more than 25 years and has successfully launched the careers of many of the industry’s Program Directors and Air Personalities along with several Urban stations in such key markets as New York, Miami and Houston. There is no doubt the expertise he brings to the table will lead CCM+E to unimagined heights.
