Little Rock Pro-Duffers 22nd Annual Sickle Cell Support Golf Tournament

On Saturday, June 14th and Sunday, June 15th, 2014, the Little Rock chapters of Pro Duffers USA, Inc. will host its 22nd Annual Sickle Cell Support Golf Tournament at Greystone Country Club, 57 Greystone Boulevard in Cabot, AR. Greystone Country Club boasts Mountain Springs Golf Course and Cypress Creek Golf course – both under new management in recent years and improved course terrain to provide an excellent golf experience for all. The two-day event will be a 36-hole, medal play format and the cost will be $165 per player.

A critical component to the success of this tournament is the contributions received from vendors and sponsors. Let this letter serve as an opportunity for you or your company to contribute to the rich success of this event, and the history of our golfing tournaments. Please help us by sponsoring at least one golfer or donating any items of value or consumption.

Proceeds from this golf tournament will be collected for Sickle Cell Support Services, a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit organization incorporated to help families and individuals living with the sickle cell anemia disease: a challenging, genetic disease that limits one’s ability to perform everyday activities. The organization works to impact lives by providing emergency assistance (bill payments, prescription assistance, and transportation), social, and emotional support through enrichment camps, and education on the disease through community awareness training.

**Sponsorships are available in the following levels:

1.            Hole Sponsorship – $250.00

•             Tournament benefactors of this sponsorship will receive a Tee sign with your logo, and chapter website to aid in promoting brand recognition and gaining new customers, while showing your company’s support of local nonprofit organizations.

2.            Player Sponsorship – $165.00

•             Tournament benefactors of this sponsorship will receive green fee with a cart, and lunch Certificate of Sponsorship for viewing in the company office and, more importantly, a tax deduction for your charitable contribution to a qualified organization.

**Donated items are also welcomed: these include gift certificates, catered lunch, door prizes, company clothing and products, or cash.

One of the most significant programs for Sickle Cell Support Services is the Enrichment Camp. It’s held annually for kids ages 7-16 from the state of Arkansas. The camp helps empower kids born with the disease to deal with life, social, and emotional challenges to increase their chance for success in the future.
