Chris Michaels Joins WVAZ-Chicago’s V103

13-year radio vet Chris Michaels joins Urban AC WVAZ-FM (V103) Chicago to host V103’s “Quiet Storm,” airing Sunday-Thursday from 10pm-2am. He comes to V103 from WGCI, where he was the longtime host of “Whispers in the Dark.” Concurrently, DJ Moon Dawg joins co-owned WGCI for 7-midnight. He previously worked parttime as an air personality and DJ during the weekends.

“My on-air relationship has been one of the most fulfilling aspects of my life,” said Michaels. “I am humbled that Chicago has accepted me and after 13 years, I am still very much in love with this job. I’m moving, but I know it’s going to be a lot of fun.”

I have no doubt he will continue to captivate listeners with his unique brand of conversation and the best slow jams in Chicago.”

Over the last four years DJ Moon Dawg has also worked in the music industry, releasing mixtapes with artists such as Twista and Lupe Fiasco.
