During his career, he sold over 25 million records worldwide and received eight Grammy Awards. April 20th marked what would have been Luther Vandross’ 63rd Bther suffered from diabetes and hypertension and suffered a stroke in 2003 which left him in a coma for nearly two months. On July 1, 2005 at age 54, Luther died of a heart attack. Luther left us with a wealth of music, so it’s hard to come up with a definitive Top Ten list but that’s never stopped me before.
