Best of BET Experience: “Genius Talks”

You saw the BET Awards show, the fun, fashion, flash and of course all the things you would like to forget. Aside from the classy tribute to Lionel Richie and his even classier speech… one of the greatest things about the BET Experience was the Fan Experience. It was free and open to all ages. The highlight of the fan experience was the Genius Talks event, a series of conversations between celebrity interviewers and a legendary entertainment figures.  The conversation “mash-ups” included: Regina King interviewing Dr. Mae Jemison; Hill Harper interviewed Bill Withers; Kevin Frazier interviewed Van Jones, MC Hammer, Pastor Toure Roberts, and more; Boris Kodjoe interviewed Will Packer (producer of the #1 film Think Like a Man Too); Jemele Hill from ESPN interviews Snoop Dogg and Chris Paul; Omari Hardwick interviewed Nikki Giovanni; Doug E Fresh interviewed Floyd Mayweather;  Common interviewed Mike Tyson; and others. Plus if you couldn’t attend the talks live, they were streamed live on www.bet.com and you can still check them out now! Very cool.
