RCA CEO Peter Edge, Bryan Leach and president/COO Tom Corson

Bryan Leach’s Polo Grounds Music entered a long-term extension with RCA Records it was announced today. The partnership, now in its 9th year, is the longest hip-hop/urban music joint venture in RCA’s history.

Leach’s Polo Grounds Music (PGM) has received unprecedented success since its inception in 2005 by helping to shape the sound of today’s most popular chart-topping music. Within eight short years, Polo Grounds Music has garnered global recognition by not only dominating the Urban and Rhythmic charts, but has also held strong positioning on the Latin and Pop charts. Signing critically acclaimed artists like Grammy nominated A$AP Rocky, A$AP Ferg and Latin Grammy Award winner Pitbull, the New York based record-breaking imprint boasts sales of well over 70 million singles and 12 million albums worldwide (inclusive of TEAs). The releases over the years have also included multi-platinum singles from Hurricane Chris (“A Bay Bay”) as well as releases by Yo Gotti. In the upcoming months PGM is scheduled to release new albums by the aforementioned A$AP Rocky & A$AP Ferg as well as the A$AP Mob, LA rap collective OverDoz. and albums by new signings Diamond, Sicko Mobb, Lantana and Yung Joc.

Polo Grounds Music is also expanding its executive team with the recent appointment of Motisola Zulu as General Manager, additionally Derrick “Big Teach” Turton and Amy Johnson will hold Vice President positions respectively. More staff announcements will be made in the near future as PGM adds to its creative team.

Leach’s career spans over two decades, formerly spearheading the urban roster for independent label TVT Records. Under Leach’s direction as Vice President of A&R, the label held Billboard’s #1 indie title for 5 years in a row as he went on to discover and develop some of the most influential artists in Hip-Hop  including Lil Jon & The East Side Boyz, the Ying Yang Twins and Pitbull selling over 10 million albums. Leach also held the position of Senior Vice President Urban for RCA Music Group from 2006-2014, in addition to serving as President of his Polo Grounds Music imprint. Throughout his illustrious career, Leach has been featured in Crain’s 40 Under 40, Billboard’s Urban Power List and more.
