Will Packer’s “No Good Deed” Wins the Weekend Box Office

I’m not a movie critic or a very good judge of what movies people will… or won’t spend their money on. But I’m learning not to bet against film producer Will Packer. This brother continues to prove he’s a marvel with his movies.  The producer of such major money makers as “Stomp The Yard”, “Takers”, “Obsessed”, “This Christmas”, “Ride Along”, “Think Like A Man”, “About Last Night” and others; Packer’s latest offering, “No Good Deed,” is proving to be a hot ticket at the box office. The home invasion themed flick featuring two Black stars came in at number one last weekend, bringing in an estimated $24.5 million.  The PG-13 thriller, starring Idris Elba and Taraji P. Henson, broke a string of slow box office weekends and nearly doubled its reported production cost with its opening. Big ups to the new “Big Willy!”
